Our PhD studies is supported by the Doctoral Education of CSE. They are an entity that takes care of the PhD education and supports PhDs when needed.

Some Notes

Your supervisor's role is to help and guide you through the research part of your education. This page on insidan is targeted towards supervisors and might give you an insight into what the supervisor can assist you with. On the same page, you can also find a document for expectations that you can fill in together to align your views on the matter.
The examiner is responsible for the quality assurance of the assigned PhD student and is the one who will give pass/fail of the licentiate.
Your follow-up meetings are to bring up any matter that concerns you. It is not there to evaluate you, but rather to support you in case you need to bring something up or clarify something with your group.
The ISP is a legal document, and it can be used for your support in any future matters.
At each division there is a director of studies that assign you the teaching duties (which in reality is what most PhD contracts 20% of departmental duties end up being.). The director of studies at each division does not track your teaching hours along with your PhD. They only have information about the current year and the following one. It is your responsibility to track the hours using your ISP. If you are reaching the end of hours for your whole PhD, inform your director of studies a year ahead of time for planning purposes. Don't teach for more than what your contract stipulates (normally 1650h). If you are made to do more, contact the doctoral education team mentioned above.
Each doctoral program has a general syllabus, which is a document that describes the requirements for your program. Figure out which syllabus is yours and read it. You can find the links on the Doctoral Education canvas page.
