The lab sessions are opportunities for you to ask questions about the lab assignment. No session is mandatory, but you will need to attend at least one lab sessions to demonstrate the final Task.

A guide to getting help

The course uses an electronic help list:

The list will be cleared at the end of each day. Below are some simple instructions for signing up.

Step 1: Know who you are

Sign up with your Fire group number followed by one or two first names, at most 20 characters is allowed (where it says "your name"). Also listen to when the number is called. If we fail to find you, your help request is removed, so check occasionally that you are still on the list.

Step 2: Know what you want

There are four help topics:

Help: Sign up with this if you have a question.

Present A1-3: Sign up for this if you want to demonstrate your solution to Assignment 1, 2, or 3. This is not mandatory for any assignment, but can speed up the grading process. These requests will only be served after the help list is cleared.

Present A4: Sign up for this to demonstrate your solution to Assignment 4 (typically near the end of the course).

Priority: Only sign up for this if a teacher told you to. Misuse will be met with displeasure.

Step 3: Know where you are

For Johanneberg sessions, there are three locations in Idéläran, "Ideläran-1" is the main computer room, 2515/2516 are the smaller rooms. There are also three rooms in the Edit-building (ED3nnn).
