Registration to MSc thesis work ACEX30
As expalined above, this information is already provided on your program pages.
You must register to your Master’s thesis in order to start the process and get access to ACEX30 in Canvas. The registration is done by a digital registration form, which works for both 30 cr and 60 cr theses. One registration form is enough regardless the number of students in the thesis project (1 or 2). You must also meet the requirements that are stated in the corresponding programme syllabus (see the Student Portal).
- Insert your name(s), personal details, number of gained credits, preliminary title and time frame for the thesis. In the field 'Course Code Master Thesis' put one of the codes shown in the table below. Codes for other master programmes can be found in the Study portal.
- Prepare also a short description of your project task to append it to the registration form. It can be a description that you get from the superviser/examiner who has proposed the thesis, a description written in your own words (1-2 pages), or a full project planning report.
- After you fill out the form, have it signed firstly by the examiner and then by the Director of the master programme. Note that only digital signatures are accepted. Remember to append the project description to the registration form.
- Once you get the form signed, e-mail only the form, i.e. without the project description, to masterthesis@chalmers.se. This is the final step in the registration process after which you should be registered on the master thesis course in Ladok. It may take couple of days before the registration is processed.
